Marine Holiday Park has just been awarded and recognised by the Welsh Tourist Board as one of the jewels in the crown of Caravan Holiday Parks in Wales. It is Marine Holiday Park’s first ever official award and is recognition of the fantastic developments that have been witnessed in the short time since Wyn & Sam Williams became the new family owners. Entering the newly refurbished reception, the Board were greeted and shown around the superb leisure complex, including the Indoor Tropical Swimming Pool, Tanning Rooms, Mermaid Café and Shipwreck Children’s Play Area. 

 Adjacent, they viewed the outdoor BBQ and sun-terrace plus the children’s playground and All-weather Sports Pitch. Finally, they enjoyed refreshments in one of the two bars before enjoying a stroll to admire the floral displays around the park.

There will be a Commemoration Parade to the Garden of Remembrance at 10am and at Ffrith Beach in Prestatyn, there will be extravaganza and displays all afternoon and evening.

A fantastic day was had by all, players and spectators alike at Rhuddlan Golf Club. Teeing off at 3.10pm, the players enjoyed this tremendous park golf course that breaks beautiful scenery and some of the finest tree-lined lush fairways in the country.

A cold beer awaited players on the 18th Green, followed by a buffet and presentation.

Congratulations to Mr John Heffey, our newly crowned 2008 champion.

The event was complimentary to our owners as a token of appreciation for their loyal custom.

 Mr Terry Woodcock was awarded 2nd prize along with the nearest pin prize.

3rd prize went to Mr Brian Wilson along with the longest drive prize.

Mr Bill Smith won an achievement award for a tremendous score.

Marine Holiday Park in Rhyl, on the North Wales Coast is ideally located for the budding fisherman / fisherwoman. Located only one minute away is the Brickfields pond, where you can go for a lovely walk and picnic, there are ducks to feed and for a spot of relaxation why not try your hand at a spot of fishing.
