With 3 wonderful children, my husband and I wouldn’t change anything for the world. Most of the time our children are a delight… but come the school holidays we are faced with energetic children who get bored very quickly!

Spending too much during the holidays

We dread to think how much we spend, taking them for days out, buying new games for their console’s, enrolling on kid’s clubs at our local recreation centre. The list is endless.

Family days out

Wanting to find an alternative, we searched the internet for cheap days out with the kids and family days out.

We came across Marine Holiday Park who takes bookings for holidays as well as being able to own your own caravan holiday home. Whether on holiday or an owner, you get free use of facilities, free daytime children’s entertainment and free evening entertainment for the family. There is plenty to do for the kids.

We decided to book ourselves a holiday at Marine as we had nothing to lose.

Childrens entertainment and facilities

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Marine. Our children enjoyed back-to-back kid’s activities 9 ’till 9, taking part in everything from Everton Sports School and Pop Academy to splashing about in the pool, enjoying face painting and fun competitions such as archery.

My husband and I really couldn’t believe the amount of activities available for the children free of charge.

With so much for the kids to do, it provided us with great relief of not having to plan where to take them, how much it’d cost and so on. All we had to do was wake up, feed the family, get dressed and walk down to the complex before deciding where the day would take us.

From fun in the indoor pool, Party Dances and Everton Sports School to Scavenger Hunts and Pool Games, your little one’s will be kept amused – we have the proof!

Holiday after holiday

Whilst staying at Marine we soon realised that our children were being kept extremely happy for significantly less and this is why we decided to buy our very own caravan. This means we can enjoy fun days out every time we come to Marine Holiday Park.

Marine is now our permanent base for our family holidays. Come rain or shine the children are kept busy and we often enjoy letting them splash around in the indoor pool while we sit back and relax by the poolside.
