Our wheelchair friendly holiday home includes a bigger bathroom, better positioning of handles & fittings and a new improved walk in shower. The lounge has been given new soft furnishings providing a seasonal lift and enhanced appeal.
In fact everything about the disabled caravan is immediately accessible and provides a safe, unobtrusive space to allow freedom of movement and comfort for all. From the wide, 2 panel door entrances leading through to even wider aisles, to the open plan lounge with its moveable dining furniture, to the kitchen with low level sink and worktops, every detail has been carefully researched, planned and tested.
The twin bedroom allows for one bed to fit under the other to provide space and the master bedroom includes a patient helper for assistance getting in and out of the beds. The bathroom, now larger, features a low threshold improved shower with half doors, along with adjustable seat and re-positioned grab handles, as does the WC.
